I will forever carry with me the vivid memory of the day I excitedly lifted the lid of a guitar case and for the very first time revealed its contents. A moment etched in the early 90s – a time marked by its own unique charm and appeal. The guitar that lay wrapped there was a Gibson – a name that oozes both history and craftsmanship. As the case opened and revealed its world, my senses were greeted by a symphony of scents – a powerful fusion of the earthy warmth of the wood, the distinctive edge of the lacquer and a subtle hint of metal. It was as if each and every scent note played along to a melody – a sensual journey that awakened my connection to both music and perfume on a deep and personal level.
Created by Michael Partouche – also known as Dr. Mike – a musician with a background in pharmacy, the brand combines the rebellious and the refined, drawing inspiration from the wild energy of music, spiritual currents and the subcultural rebellion of the time.
The name refers to the legendary hotel room where rock history was written (and smashed).
