We want every order to reach you exactly as intended. If something isn't right, here's how we handle it — simply and fairly.
01 · Right of Withdrawal
14-Day Return Window
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on all items purchased from NOTES – parfumerie, unless otherwise stated in your order or our terms.
The withdrawal period begins on the day your order has been delivered.
02 · What Cannot Be Returned
Samples & Opened Fragrances
For hygiene and consumer safety reasons, we do not accept returns of fragrances that have been opened, unsealed, or used after delivery.
Handmade Samples — Please Read
Our samples are prepared by hand, in-house. Because of the handmade and intimate nature of sample production, samples cannot be returned or refunded after purchase — regardless of circumstance.
If you are uncertain whether a fragrance is right for you, we encourage you to try a sample before committing to a full bottle. That's exactly what they're there for.
03 · How to Request a Return
Notify Us Within 14 Days
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery by sending a clear message via email. Your message must state that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

04 · Returning Your Item
Shipping the Item Back
Once you have notified us, the item must be handled no later than 14 days afterwards.
You are responsible for the direct costs of return shipping. We can provide return shipping labels upon request.
05 · Damaged or Faulty Products
Warranty & Claims
All products are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. If you discover a fault or issue, please contact us within a reasonable time of noticing it.
Return Requirement for Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or develops a defect covered under warranty, the item must be physically returned to us before a replacement or refund can be issued. We cannot process claims for damaged goods without receiving the product back.
Once received and inspected, approved claims will be handled promptly and may include reimbursement of reasonable return shipping costs.

06 · Refunds
How Refunds Are Processed
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund without unnecessary delay.
We may withhold the refund until:
- the returned item has been received by us, or
- you have provided documentation confirming the item has been shipped back
Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
