Cherry Punk is the fragrance that put Room 1015 on the map and it's easy to understand why. It opens with cherry, saffron, and Sichuan pepper in a combination that's simultaneously sweet, spiced, and slightly metallic. A heart of violet, mimosa, and jasmine gives it a bruised floral quality, romantic but with an edge before leather, tonka, and patchouli close it down into something genuinely dark and addictive.
Perfumer Jérôme Epinette built the whole thing around a very specific image: Vivienne Westwood's SEX shop on King's Road, 1976. Spray-painted leather jackets, vinyl records, cherry coke and port. It's punk filtered through French fine fragrance craft a combination that shouldn't work as well as it does.
