The fragrance opens with bitter orange, green mandarin, and a deep, liqueur-like prune that sets the tone straight away: fruity, sharp, and slightly boozy. The heart is built around a poppy accord combined with saffron milk and davana, adding a creamy, spiced warmth that anchors the fruit without sweetening it into predictability. The base settles into tobacco, Havanawood, and tonka with a modern musky finish from sublimolide.
The result sits somewhere between sweet and sharp, soft and defiant, very much in the Room 1015 tradition of taking a crowd-pleasing ingredient and surrounding it with enough tension to make it interesting. If you liked Cherry Punk, Poppy Riot is the logical next move.
