Maison Mataha started with a childhood memory of crème brûlée. That memory became Escapade Gourmande, the house's signature, and Grand Cru is what happens when the founders go back and rebuild it with better materials. Made with perfumer Vincent Ricord, it's the same idea reworked around natural absolutes as a 35% Absolu de Parfum.

Two vanillas do the heavy lifting: Cristal vanilla absolute up top, warmed by Peru balsam, and Bourbon vanilla absolute in the base. In between, a black sugar accord brings the burnt, caramelized crust while tonka absolute keeps everything creamy underneath. Musk stretches it into a soft, velvety trail. Same dessert, more texture, more depth.
